Voices from the scene

DJ since the early 90s in Helsingborg, producer as Thessla, and the voice behind synth blog Muzik Mag Sweden and Electric Cafe. We talk about Bandcamp weekends, a dancefloor that refused to close, and a Swedish Top 15 for alternative music.

Synthpop noir and hardware-only synths. We talk about why it is a band and not a project, listening through an entire festival lineup over two evenings, and a debut album taking shape.

20+ years running clubs and concerts in Oslo, from Cyberdyne to Nærsynth. We talk about the How to Use Machinery awakening, and the night a stranger walked on stage in tears.

Runs events and plays in the band MaXi-P. We talk about her MiNi-festival, the meeting between musicians and their audience, and finding the right mix of new and established.
